Miss My College/Schooling Time

Reading back my previous blog here, make me miss my college life in The One Academy, life in Sunway, the midnight yum cha kakis. It's going to be a year after I graduated. Time flies. I was thinking back then how badly I want to finish my college life, now that I think college/schooling time is still the best. How funny is it to think that way. Those were the times when you can meet GOOD people around you. At least, I meet GOOD people. I mean FRIENDS. I am proud! Yayyyy! At least I make them my friends. haha. Well, no doubt that working life is real stressful. I have to admit this. Because I seriously hate that feelings. Especially if you came across fierce boss. Errrrr yeah, anyways, just missing much all the stuff I gone through. Cheers!

Working On Wedding Animation

Lately, my brother and I been trying to work on a wedding animation for my cousin. Hopefully things will turn out good. No matter what, wedding is a good thing so yeah hopefully, hopefully I'll be able to finish the animation as soon as possible before September. This animation is seriously very hard to work on as this is my first time doing this. If the first time works, I guess I can get to work on for the second time. =P What we need at the first point is the storyline which already provided by my cousin. Then next step we try to work on the storyboard. The storyline which they gave is really long, so we have to make sure we have the important points to further enhance the animation so that it will turns out meaningful. Now, I have just started to work on the graphics. I really hope that I can finish this on time. God bless me and brother. =D

After graduated, never have I thought that working life would be so tough. After gone through the working life for about 6 months, I realised the real world is real tough to go through each day. I enjoy working, but I prefer a place where I can learn more. At the moment, what I have to do is look for a new job, new environment that will suit me more. So that I won't hate what I am doing instead I will enjoy doing it. Strive to the best. Work hard. =)

Project Concept Proposal

Project Definition
As for our web design 2 project, we’ve been given a 7 weeks to redesign a commercial website. This project is all about to redesign the commercial website whether to improve or to attract more users. We learn to understand the company that we’ve chosen. We’re required to do at least 8 html web pages. I’ve randomly chosen a website which is Pallas (http://www.pallas.com.my). Pallas is a shoe company that sells various types of shoe. Besides, this company also produced few types of brand of shoes.

Current Site’s Analysis Goals
The purpose of the site is to provide information about all the products that the company has it in the market. Also, it provides promotions or information of contests for the people to know. This website does not provide the price for each product in this website is because in every store they have it Malaysia, mostly having different prices in the market.

To look for improvement for this website, there are few things to take care of. As for me, this website does not have the introduction of the company itself. There are few broken links, or the changes of the size of the screen. The information provided in the website not arranged.

Client’s Analysis
Southern Rubber Works Sdn Bhd based in Penang, is a well established company involved in trading and manufacturing of footwear and other rubber based products. From my research, for all of the products, the business aimed for middle class. Their products are placed in the major supermarket /hypermarket/shopping mall, such as Tesco, Fajar, The Store, and etc. The outlet mostly can be found in peninsular Malaysia.

Pallas unique selling point provides comfortable design shoes to the customers and also colors their world with different kind of shoes to wear on the different kind of best place.

Short & Long-term Site Goals
As for short term, I think that they should really focus on the promotion to attract more customers. Since they already have this sort of contest, why not have more contests. From this contest, customers can buy the shoes in order to participate in the contest. With this, they will be able to attract more customers.

For the long term, maybe they can have this membership since they do not have it now. This membership can keep the updates and hit rate of the members. Besides they can send updates of their new products to customers with their provided email. Other than that, they can have discounts for the all the loyal customers. As sort of rewards for them. To promote more about their website, they can highlight it in the internet banner advertisement.

Target Audience
The target audiences are pretty much wide because they targeted on students, teenagers and adults. The activities that they can do on this website are search on the latest and existing products. As I mentioned earlier, they did not display the price of their products because they have different prices in different stores. Besides, they will be able to join as membership in order to get updates of the latest products. They can look for the latest contests as well as promotions online. They will be able to engage with this side if it’s all updated and the keep the customers informed.

Earth Hour!
Held on the last Saturday of March, that asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

Yeah, I support Earth Hour!

I want to turn off my lights too, but I'm afraid of dark! So how? Hmmmmmm.
Anyways, I'll turn it off on this special date. =)

I Love My Friends

Another day to relax. As usual, Jia Yee, Hendry, Tze Khin, Yen Shing and Colleen. We played cards AGAIN, and we chatted till 6am in the morning. We talked about alot of stuffs. We brought up the topic where will we be after we graduated. Sometimes it's fun when we think of we're going to graduate soon, though it's another 1.5 years to go. Sometimes it's really scary to think that we're going to separate to go on our own path. Though deep inside me, I know that we will still keep in touch, but still it's true that I'm afraid the feeling of separation. We known each other for almost 2 years. It's not a really really long time yet, but we have really good bonding. It's unlike other classes. We spend our time together, eating, playing, joking, teasing, sleeping, stalking, staying up late and a lot more. We're almost like a family. I think now I have additional best friends. I'm really glad that I met alot of good people that I can consider as my best friends. When I first stepped in to The One Academy, I really thought that I won't able to meet such good people, but now, I know that I'm wrong because I met them in The One Academy.
What's next in life? I can't predict, but all I know now is I'll treasure every moments with each and everyone of you without no regrets. If I ever did something wrongly, I'm sorry.
*Now, I really want the time to go slower so that we can spend more time together.*

Of course, I won't neglect my best friends back in my hometown. =D

Colour Pallete

OMG! I almost forgot to submit my colour pallete assignments through blog until I read through my classmates' blog. So, here it goes mine. The 10 that I like the most.

1.) The earth color that attracted me with a closed up shot.

2.) Another closed up shot of an insect. Green is just good for eyes and I feel so fresh looking at it. =P

3.) Wooooooooow! Golden Retriever! One of my favourite type of dog. Colour picked from the fur. So soft. =)

4.) I just love photography. Black and white gave me a mysterious feel which can reflect me.

5.) Blue!! Cool and calm. Just love it. This made me think of Pulau Redang I went last year. So much fun!

6.) Colour picked from the little bird's head. It's just so random for most of the birds.

7.) Pink and red were once the colours I hate most. But now, I just love the sweet pink and red. I'm so in love with pink. I feel happy when I see pink colour. =D

8.) Greenish grey? Felt so empty and lonely.

9.) Brown again. Dull colour.
10.) Lotus with a soft colour. Can be nice but the colour picked are slightly dull.
